Must have pictures

Sunday, August 23rd, 2009

Although I do say please give me your list of must have pictures so that my assistant can make sure that they are all captured on the day, it is great to get some quality time with just the bride and groom.

This shot at Chatsworth House was made possible because just the bride, groom and me took ourselves off into the wonderful gardens of Chatsworth House for half an hour and made full use of the stunning scenery. So when you are planning your wedding day, make sure you leave plenty of time to get those all important images of just the two of you, after all whose day is it?

Never work with animals!

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Who was it that said never work with children or animals? Well children are a given at a wedding and never a problem to a photographer who for years photographed the Mothercare  catalogue, but cows! this was a first.

Tom and Katie who got married at Hassop Church and had their reception at Hassop Hall invited along two extra guests by way of an adjoining field. Oscar and Gemima two pedigree Longhorn cattle are no strangers to the cameras having won 2 third rosettes each at Leicestershire County Show. It put a whole new meaning on say cheese.
